Commencement Ceremonies

This May, Missouri S&T will celebrate the 150th anniversary of its first graduating class. The university will honor graduating students during three commencement ceremonies.

Each event will be livestreamed via Missouri S&T's Facebook page and on Zoom for those guests needing closed captioning. For more information, please email commencement@mst.edu.

commemorative green and gold cords

All students graduating in May 2024 will receive a free set of green and gold commemorative cords to wear over their gown at commencement. The cords can be picked up from the S&T Store.

This special ceremony is held for all S&T Ph.D. graduates, who will receive their academic hoods and be introduced for the first time with their “Dr.” title, recognizing them as experts in their fields.
